plastica

Recyclable plastic is plastic that can be recycled by responsible citizens. Post-consumer recycled plastic, as used in Scala products, is plastic that has already been used at least once by consumers and therefore comes from differentiated waste collection.  To be re-used, the plastic has to be collected, washed and milled into new flakes (for subsequent industrial processing). This eliminates the phases which are needed for the production of raw recyclable plastic, i.e. distillation of oil. chemical reactions, fusion, crystallisation.
